Meet the Farmers

Woven Strong Farm is the family farm of Bill & Stacey Borrenpohl and was established in 2011.  This farm is entirely a family operation with daily chores done by Bill, Stacey and our children.  

While the farm is central to our family life and schedule, we both have off farm jobs.  Bill is a degreed mechanical engineer and leads design on large scale forestry equipment.  Stacey’s background is in the business world with degrees in human resources and finance.  She holds a SHRM-CP professional HR certification.

We both grew up in farming families.  As our family grew, we desired to provide them with an agricultural background.  We started looking for a farm to buy in Jackson County, IA since Bill had lived and developed some friendships in that area before we were married.  We found & purchased our farm place in 2011.  

Our family holds our Christian faith central to our life.  Our farm name came from a blend of our initials as well as through the spirit of Ecclesiastes 4:12 “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
